Center of Hope

Center of Hope is a client-choice food pantry serving Kankakee County since 2001 through Nazarene Compassionate Ministries. Located at 395 North Schuyler Avenue, the nonprofit operates Monday through Wednesday from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, allowing low-income residents who meet IDHS income guidelines to select ten to twelve food items weekly from shelves stocked with staples like cereal, canned goods, fresh produce, and proteins. Center of Hope partners with the United Way of Kankakee and Iroquois County and the Northern Illinois Food Bank to empower individuals and families facing financial hardship.
