Northern Illinois Food Bank – North Suburban Center

The Northern Illinois Food Bank’s North Suburban Center in Lake Forest is a 28,000 square-foot distribution facility that serves food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and other partner agencies across Lake and McHenry Counties. Relocated from Park City in June 2022, the expanded center tripled its previous capacity to meet growing demand for services in the region. As part of the Northern Illinois Food Bank, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit member of Feeding America, the North Suburban Center relies on nearly 1,000 volunteers weekly to sort, pack, and distribute groceries to neighbors in need across 13 counties in Northern Illinois.
