Saint John’s United Church of Christ

Saint John’s United Church of Christ, located at 4500 Prescott Avenue in Lyons, Illinois, is a nonprofit religious congregation that was established in 1902 as St. Johanna’s German Evangelical Lutheran Church and became part of the United Church of Christ in 1962. The church serves as a community of approximately 400 members who gather weekly for worship and spiritual growth, while also striving to be “a source of help and hope, justice and compassion, education and dialogue in the Lyons and surrounding communities.”
