Helping Hands – Food Pantry

Helping Hands Pantry is a nonprofit organization serving the Machesney Park and Loves Park communities since 2003, providing critical food assistance to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Located at 7620 Elm Avenue in Machesney Park, the pantry has served over 100,000 individuals to date and currently assists approximately 350-400 people monthly through regular food distributions and special programs including holiday toy drives. Operating as a volunteer-driven organization, Helping Hands Pantry has earned consistent support from the Village of Machesney Park, which has made multiple donations to sustain the pantry’s operations and community outreach efforts.
