Genesis Garden

Genesis Garden is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based at 307 E Carroll Street in Macomb, Illinois, founded in 2010 to address housing crises in west central Illinois following the Shade Tree Mobile Park evictions. The organization provides emergency shelter, rapid re-housing, eviction prevention, and permanent supportive housing services to families and individuals experiencing homelessness across McDonough, Hancock, Henderson, and Warren Counties, while also operating community programs including a STEM-based after-school initiative and summer meals program.
