Manhattan Food Pantry
About
The Manhattan Food Pantry was started in November 1997 as a project by the Manhattan Girl Scouts of Trailways Council to serve the Manhattan community. Currently serving approximately 60 households each month, the pantry is operated by Manhattan Township and funded through private donations, serving residents including families, single mothers, and individuals with disabilities. Recent improvements made to the Township Building have enabled the pantry to expand its storage capacity and establish a permanent drive-through system for food distribution.
