Mattoon Community Food Center

Mattoon Community Food Center is a nonprofit organization located at 600 Moultrie Ave in Mattoon, Illinois, that provides food and household staples free of charge to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity in the community. The organization has served more than 22,000 people with support from over 200 volunteers, distributing more than 550,000 pounds of food and personal items, and operates Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., with additional Thursday evening hours from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
