Housing Forward

Housing Forward is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based at 1851 S. Ninth Avenue in Maywood, IL, dedicated to ending homelessness in west suburban Cook County. Founded in 1992, the organization has served over 15,000 individuals and families by providing a comprehensive “housing + services” solution including emergency shelter, rental assistance, interim and transitional housing, and supportive services to transition people from housing crisis to housing stability. Housing Forward remains actively engaged with the community through partnerships with local organizations and volunteers, distinguishing itself as the only comprehensive homeless services provider in west Cook County.
