Just Animals Shelter

Just Animals Shelter is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) no-kill animal shelter located at 505 Depot St. in Mazon, IL 60444, founded in 1997. The organization rescues, rehabilitates, and finds permanent homes for stray, abused, neglected, and surrendered dogs and cats, ensuring all animals receive comprehensive veterinary care including spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and testing before adoption. Beyond adoption services, Just Animals operates an affordable vaccine clinic established in 2009 and opened a full-service veterinary clinic in November 2025 to provide affordable veterinary care to the community and animals in their care, while relying entirely on donations and community support with no government funding.
