Northwest Compass, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1986 that serves moderate and low-income populations in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago from its Mount Prospect location at 1300 W. Northwest Highway. The organization’s mission is to enhance the community by providing emergency services, education, and empowerment to vulnerable and crisis-affected individuals, with programs organized into three categories: Stabilization, Empowerment, and Housing, including crisis intervention, counseling, housing assistance, food pantry services, job readiness training, and veterans support.
