Green Earth Institute – Food Distribution Center

The Green Earth Institute is a nonprofit organization established in 2002 in Naperville, Illinois, dedicated to promoting nutritional health and environmental sustainability through certified organic farming. Located on a 60-acre farm in southeast Naperville at McDonald Farm, the organization grows over 40 different vegetables and herbs, which it distributes through its CSA farmshare program and serves approximately 1,200 families through its Farm to Pantry Initiative partnership with local food banks. Beyond food production, the Green Earth Institute operates as a demonstration and learning center, offering educational programs for children and adults focused on sustainable gardening practices, nature appreciation, and environmental stewardship.
