Versiti Blood Center of Illinois

Versiti Blood Center of Illinois, located at 1297 South Naper Boulevard in Naperville, has provided blood products and services to local patients since 1943, making it the oldest blood center in Illinois. The organization, formerly known as Heartland Blood Centers, operates multiple donation centers across Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio, offering whole blood donations, double red cell donations, and platelet donations. Versiti supports its lifesaving mission through community blood drives at schools, workplaces and community locations, while also maintaining a world-renowned Blood Research Institute focused on advancing hematology and transfusion medicine.
