Nauvoo Food Pantry

The Nauvoo Food Pantry, established on April 23, 1983, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing food assistance to families in need throughout the Nauvoo area. Run entirely by volunteers and funded through grants and donations, the pantry partners with River Bend Food Bank to extend its purchasing power, allowing every dollar donated to purchase up to five dollars' worth of food. The organization serves residents of Hancock and Lee counties who meet Illinois income eligibility requirements, offering a variety of items including dairy, produce, meat, shelf-stable goods, and toiletries.
