Ronald McDonald House near Advocate Children Hospital

The modern facility, which opened in 2008 with five additional rooms added in 2019, features 21 private guest rooms with bathrooms, home-cooked meals prepared by volunteer groups, and 24-hour shuttle service to the hospital. Operating as part of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana, the organization offers families an affordable “home away from home” that allows them to remain close to their child during hospitalization while fostering healing and community support.
