First United Church of Oak Park

First United Church of Oak Park is a union church affiliated with both the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the United Church of Christ, located at 848 Lake Street in Oak Park, Illinois. Formed in 1975 through the merger of First Presbyterian Church and First Congregational Church, the congregation carries on a tradition of ministry dating back to the 1860s and maintains a Special Mission Endowment Fund that supports justice efforts and mission organizations locally and globally. The church serves as a community hub, hosting programs including PADS emergency shelter for homeless individuals, Beyond Hunger food pantry, and Learning Edge tutoring services.
