Oak Park & River Forest Infant Welfare Society

The Oak Park & River Forest Infant Welfare Society is a nonprofit organization founded in 1916 that has served the health and well-being of children across Chicagoland for over 100 years. Located at 28 Madison Street in Oak Park, Illinois, the organization operates the IWS Children’s Clinic, which provides comprehensive medical, dental, and behavioral health services to infants, children, and young adults ages 0-21 regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. Through its compassionate team of pediatric specialists and community partnerships, OPRF IWS serves approximately 3,000 children annually with over 10,000 health care visits while also engaging in outreach programs, volunteer initiatives, and community events such as its signature Holiday Housewalk.
