Palestine Food Pantry

Palestine Community Food Pantry is an all-volunteer faith-based nonprofit organization located at 500 West Porter Street in Palestine, Illinois, serving residents of Crawford County. The pantry provides food assistance to those facing food insecurity through a client-choice grocery model, allowing households to visit twice monthly during distribution times and select items based on their needs. In 2024, the organization served over 6,600 households and also offers nutritional training and encourages clients to enroll in federal assistance programs.
