Midwest Mission

Midwest Mission is a Christian humanitarian relief nonprofit based in Pawnee, Illinois, founded in 2000 by Rev. Dr. Jack D. Travelstead. Located at 1001 Mission Drive, the organization transforms donated supplies, volunteer labor, and partner requests into practical relief for people facing disaster, poverty, health challenges, and economic hardship across domestic and international communities. Midwest Mission engages hundreds of volunteers annually, focuses on disaster preparedness, education, health, and microbusiness development, and maintains an additional site in Jefferson, Iowa.
