Heart Of Illinois Harvest – Food Distribution Center

Heart of Illinois Harvest is a not-for-profit food rescue organization established in 1992 that transports surplus food from donors such as grocery stores, restaurants, farmers, and caterers to more than 50 food banks, food pantries, and feeding services throughout the Peoria community for free distribution to those in need. Located at P.O. Box 9702 in Peoria, Illinois, the organization operates on a daily basis, supported by grants, donations, and the Good Samaritan Act, while engaging volunteers and community partners to prevent food waste and help alleviate hunger in Central Illinois.
