Heart Of Illinois Harvest

Heart of Illinois Harvest is a nonprofit organization founded in 1992 located in Peoria, Illinois that collects and transports surplus food from grocery stores, restaurants, farmers, and other donors to more than 50 food banks, food pantries, and feeding services throughout Central Illinois for free distribution to those in need. The organization works to redirect food that would otherwise end up in landfills to families and individuals experiencing food insecurity in the Peoria community.
