Midwest Food Bank

Midwest Food Bank is a faith-based nonprofit food distribution organization located at 9005 North Industrial Road in Peoria, Illinois. Founded in 2007 as the second location of Midwest Food Bank, the Peoria division has grown from 65 nonprofit partners to serve over 300 agencies across western Illinois, eastern Iowa, and parts of Missouri and Kentucky. The organization gathers and distributes food donations free of charge to partner nonprofits including pantries, shelters, and community kitchens, while relying heavily on volunteers and community support to fulfill its mission of alleviating hunger and providing disaster relief.
