The Christian Center

The Christian Center is a multi-denominational nonprofit religious organization located at 4100 N Brandywine Dr in Peoria, IL, founded on July 1, 1948 by Dan Demmin to provide a safe environment where Christians can grow spiritually and others can find Christ. The organization operates year-round athletic programs including basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, and bowling, serving approximately 2,100 children ages 6-18 annually, with notable program alumni including Ben Zobrist of the Chicago Cubs and Shaun Livingston of the Golden State Warriors. The Christian Center is supported by area evangelical churches and interested individuals and serves as home to the Peoria Area Youth for Christ offices.
