Tri -County Peoria Urban League

Since 1965, the Tri-County Peoria Urban League has served as a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the regional economy and quality of life in Central Illinois by promoting education and improving employability skills, self-sufficiency, and social well-being for African Americans and those in need. Located at 317 N. MacArthur Highway in Peoria, the organization provides comprehensive employment services, job placement, educational programs including GED instruction, youth mentorship through initiatives like the Teens Organized for Pride and Success program, and counseling services across Peoria, Tazewell, Woodford, and McLean counties. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and affiliate of the National Urban League, TCPUL serves thousands of individuals annually through economic development, education, and community empowerment programs.
