Wraparound Center

The Wraparound Center, operated by Peoria Public Schools and located at 1419 South Folkers Avenue, opened in 2018 as a one-stop resource hub for students and families across the Peoria community. The center brings together multiple community agencies including OSF Healthcare, Chestnut Health Systems, Hult Center for Healthy Living, and Prairie State Legal Services to provide therapeutic support, mental health counseling, substance abuse services, legal aid, and basic needs assistance such as food pantries and diaper drives. Open to all Peoria families regardless of school enrollment, the Wraparound Center serves the economically distressed 61605 zip code area and has provided resources to thousands of residents, particularly addressing gaps in accessible services for vulnerable populations.
