The pantries operate on a mutual aid model where community members can donate items and take what they need, operating 24 hours a day at multiple locations including Caton Farm Road and near the Keller Williams office on Illinois Route 59. Founded by local resident Joette Doyle as a personal initiative and expanded through Eagle Scout service projects, the micro pantries serve families and individuals by providing food, baby supplies, and toiletries at no cost to those in need.
