Riverside Community Garden

The Riverside Community Garden, established in 2019, is located at 400 Nuttall Road on the grounds of Ascension Lutheran Church in Riverside, Illinois. The garden promotes food growing within the community and donates all produce to local food pantries and the church’s summer school lunch program. Founded by community volunteers and supported by donations and grants, the garden hosts community events including Earth Day festivals, plant swaps, and yoga classes while serving as a space for residents to develop gardening skills and build community connections.
