Churches United Of The Quad City Area – Food Distribution Center

Churches United of the Quad City Area is an ecumenical nonprofit organization founded in 1961 that brings together over 140 churches representing 20+ Christian faith traditions from Rock Island County, Illinois and Scott County, Iowa. The organization operates a comprehensive hunger relief network including approximately 23 food pantries and multiple meal sites serving the bi-county area, distributing emergency food assistance to nearly 140,000 meal needs annually, and also provides emergency financial assistance for rent and utilities, operates Winnie’s Place shelter for homeless women and domestic violence survivors, and maintains partnerships with local churches and community agencies to address hunger and poverty.
