Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center

The Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center has served Rock Island’s West side since 1975, providing comprehensive youth and family programs including free after-school and summer day camps, substance abuse and teenage pregnancy prevention initiatives, and family advocacy services. Located at 630 Martin Luther King Drive, the center’s mission is to inspire greatness in the Quad Cities through community-building, education, and service, while offering annual community events including a Memorial Service honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Family Fun Day, Thanksgiving dinner, and a Christmas party for children.
