Sacred Heart Food Pantry

Sacred Heart Food Pantry is the oldest and longest-running food pantry in the Quad Cities, with roots tracing back to the 1940s when it began at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Currently located at Rock Island Township Hall, 2827 7th Avenue in Rock Island, Illinois, the nonprofit operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., serving approximately 2,876 individuals per month across roughly 700 families. The pantry is managed entirely by volunteers and provides nutritious food assistance to residents facing food insecurity in the community.
