Carpenter’s Place Outreach Center

Carpenter’s Place is a nonprofit homeless day center located at 1149 Railroad Avenue in Rockford, Illinois, dedicated to assisting individuals experiencing homelessness by providing comprehensive services including case management, meals, showers, laundry, and transitional housing programs. Inspired by Christ’s compassion, the organization offers direction with accountability to help homeless adults rebuild their lives and find peace with God, themselves, and their communities. The center operates a Day Room with an open-door policy and serves unhoused adults throughout Winnebago County and surrounding areas.
