Catholic Charities

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Rockford is a nonprofit organization based in Rockford, IL, that serves people in need across an eleven-county area including Jo Daviess, Stephenson, Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, Carroll, Ogle, DeKalb, Kane, Whiteside, and Lee counties. The organization provides comprehensive services including counseling and mental health ministry, immigration and refugee services, emergency assistance, food pantry and clothing closet services, and employment training through its Project Hire program. Established by Most Reverend Edward F. Hoban, the organization continues its faith-based mission to assist individuals and families in achieving independence while treating all people with dignity and respect, serving both Catholics and non-Catholics alike.
