Ruthie’s Kitchen
About
Ruthie's Kitchen feeds and cares for residents in Rockford's Midtown District through a community meal program that ensures people have at least one meal on weekends. Named in memory of Ruthie Fairchild, the program operates from Zion Lutheran Church and carries on the legacy of a soup kitchen that had served the community for over 35 years before relocating.
