Veterans Drop-In Center

The Veterans Drop-In Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located at 1539 South 4th Street in Rockford, Illinois, founded in 2009 to provide a welcoming gathering space for veterans and their families. The center offers comprehensive support services including two daily meals, peer networking, employment assistance, computer classes, free haircuts, free massages, and connections to local veteran service organizations, with a particular focus on helping displaced veterans. Operating Monday through Friday from noon to 6 p.m., the center serves 25-30 veterans daily and collaborates with over 20 community organizations to provide one-stop support services that help veterans transition to post-service life.
