Anderson Humane

Anderson Humane is a nonprofit animal welfare organization headquartered at 1000 S. La Fox Street in South Elgin, Illinois, serving the community for over 60 years. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the organization focuses on creating mutually beneficial relationships between people and animals through adoption programs, a Military Veterans’ Program, Horse Riding Therapy, and Healing Paws Pet Therapy services. Anderson Humane places more than 4,000 pets into homes annually, operates as a no-kill shelter, cares for injured and orphaned wildlife, and provides low-cost veterinary services including vaccinations, dental care, and spay/neuter clinics to help pet owners afford care for their animals.
