About
Established in 1940, the Illinois Public Health Association (IPHA) is the oldest and largest public health association in the State of Illinois, based in Springfield. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and affiliate of the American Public Health Association, IPHA advances public health practice throughout Illinois through leadership, health equity initiatives, community health worker training programs, and public health advocacy. The organization engages in conventions, seminars, and public assistance programs while serving as a recognized leader in health education and promotion across the state.
