M.E.R.C.Y. Communities, Inc.

M.E.R.C.Y. Communities, Inc. (Mentors, Empowerment and Resources for Change in Young families) is a nonprofit organization based in Springfield, Illinois dedicated to providing housing and supportive services to homeless and at-risk families. Founded in 1999, the organization operates transitional housing for up to two years and permanent supportive housing programs, offering counseling, life skills training, job training, and aftercare services to help families achieve independence. As a member of the United Way of Central Illinois, M.E.R.C.Y. Communities has served over 1,400 clients since its inception and continues to expand its impact throughout the community.
