St. Peter’s Lutheran Church

St. Peter’s Lutheran Church is an Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) member congregation located on County Road 5 near Wine Hill in Steeleville, Illinois. As part of the Wartburg Parish, a geographical organization of five Lutheran congregations in Southwestern Illinois, St. Peter’s serves the local community with Sunday worship services and maintains a historic presence in the area dating back to its origins as a German Evangelical Lutheran congregation.
