Self Help Enterprises Inc

Rock River Valley Self-Help Enterprises, Inc., a nonprofit organization established in 1965, serves individuals with special needs in Sterling, Illinois and the surrounding Whiteside County area. The agency provides day services to individuals with developmental disabilities, early intervention programs for young children, residential support, and operates Stage Two Resale Shop, with all proceeds supporting individuals with disabilities. Since its founding, Self Help Enterprises has grown from five individuals making birdhouses in a church basement to a comprehensive organization serving over 150 individuals through multiple programs and community employment opportunities.
