Oaken Acres Wildlife Center

Oaken Acres Wildlife Center is a state and federally licensed wildlife rehabilitation nonprofit organization located at 12140 Aldrich Road in Sycamore, Illinois. Founded in 1984 by Kathy Stelford, the center rehabilitates and releases injured and orphaned native Illinois wildlife, with intake growing to over 1,700 animals annually. Now one of the third largest wildlife centers in Illinois spanning 33 acres, Oaken Acres provides community education on wildlife conservation and never charges residents who bring injured or orphaned animals to the facility.
