Voluntary Action Center

Voluntary Action Center of Northern Illinois is a nonprofit organization incorporated in 1974 that provides transportation and nutrition services to seniors and persons with disabilities throughout DeKalb, Bureau, LaSalle, Kendall, and Putnam Counties. Located at 1606 Bethany Road in Sycamore, Illinois, VAC offers services including Meals on Wheels, community nutrition programs at multiple locations, and TransVAC transportation services, while also serving the broader community through a United Way partnership and support programs addressing food security and social isolation.
