CLU-W Hygiene Pantry of Champaign County

CLU-W Hygiene Pantry of Champaign County is a nonprofit organization founded by the Coalition of Labor Union Women to address rising costs of essential hygiene products in the community. The pantry, which opened in March 2026 at the Brookens Administrative Center in Urbana, provides free hygiene essentials including personal care and household items to individuals and families without income limits or eligibility requirements. Open Thursdays from 5-7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., it was the first pantry in the Champaign-Urbana area to focus solely on hygiene products and receives strong community support through donations and volunteer efforts.
