Common Ground Food Co-op

Common Ground Food Co-op is a cooperatively owned grocery store in downtown Urbana, Illinois, founded in 1974 by students and community leaders to provide healthy food access. The co-op is owned by over 9,000 Champaign-Urbana neighbors and focuses on local and organic production, conscious consumerism, and community building through partnerships with regional farmers, cooking classes, and special events.
