Wesley United Methodist Church

Wesley United Methodist Church is a welcoming congregation serving both the University of Illinois campus and the broader Urbana community from its location at 1203 W Green Street. The church operates the Wesley Foundation Student Center, offering ministry to over 1,500 students annually, with roots tracing back to 1920 when the Wesley Foundation was founded; the church itself changed its name to Wesley in 1956 and dedicated a new sanctuary in 1959. As a United Methodist congregation with approximately 355 professing members, the church is committed to community involvement through its mission work and serves as a gathering place where campus and community meet.
