St. Brigid Parish – Church of St. Patrick

St. Brigid Parish – Church of St. Patrick is a Catholic faith community located at 15000 West Wadsworth Road in Wadsworth, Illinois, serving the Vicariate IB of the Chicago Archdiocese. Originally founded as St. Andrew’s in a log church in 1849, the parish was renamed St. Patrick’s and relocated to Wadsworth in 1912, with its current modern facility developed to meet the needs of the growing community beginning in the 1980s. In 2022, St. Patrick Parish merged with Our Lady of Humility Parish as part of the Renew My Church initiative, forming the unified St. Brigid Parish, which now operates both churches and serves as a faith community dedicated to reaching out to the local area.
