Washington Helps Its People (WHIP) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) food pantry serving residents of the 61571 zip code in Washington, Illinois. Founded in 1983, WHIP operates as an all-volunteer organization that distributes food and supplies to approximately 120-140 families twice monthly from its location at 1235 Peoria Street. The organization is supported by donations from local churches, businesses, schools, and the Washington Township United Fund.
