About
Community Action Partnership of Lake County is a nonprofit social service organization established in 1964 and located in Waukegan, Illinois. The organization serves low-income families and disadvantaged populations throughout Lake County by providing comprehensive services including Head Start and Early Head Start programs for young children, home weatherization and utility bill assistance, affordable housing programs for renters and veterans, food pantry services, and case management for self-sufficiency. CAPOLC is the largest social service organization in Lake County and operates with federal and state government funding to address poverty and help individuals and families achieve self-sufficiency.
