Cool Food Pantry

COOL Ministries operates the Cool Food Pantry in Waukegan, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1982 and incorporated in 1983. Located at 800 W. Glen Flora Avenue, the food pantry serves over 6,000 Lake County residents monthly, providing four-day emergency food supplies tailored to family size, including specialty items for dietary restrictions and fresh produce when available. The organization’s mission is to reduce hunger and homelessness while promoting personal growth and self-sufficiency throughout the community.
