Holy Family Soup Kitchen

Holy Family Soup Kitchen, also known as the Holy Family Bread Basket Soup Kitchen, is a community outreach program located at 914 8th Street in Waukegan, Illinois, that has been operating for over 30 years. The nonprofit serves hot, nutritious meals to an average of 165 families per night on Wednesday through Saturday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., welcoming all Lake County residents in need without requirements or questions. Affiliated with Most Blessed Trinity Parish, the organization also operates a food pantry and extends its community service by serving special holiday meals on Thanksgiving and Christmas when those days fall during operating hours.
