The Night’s Shield

The Night’s Shield is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located at 301 East Garland Street in West Frankfort, Illinois, that provides safe shelter and support services to children in crisis, including victims of abuse, abandonment, and neglect. Since opening in August 2009, the organization has served over 1,400 children from across Illinois, offering emergency shelter, family advocacy services, life skills coaching, and community outreach to strengthen families and help at-risk youth.
