The Franciscan Center Inc. – Food Distribution Center

The Franciscan Center, Inc. is a nonprofit food assistance organization founded in 1989 that serves Fort Wayne residents through its food pantry program and sack lunch distribution services. The center provides quality groceries to neighborhood families experiencing food insecurity through its monthly food pantry program, while also delivering over 1,200 sack lunches to vulnerable populations each week. Founded by Sally Ley and Jean Kelly as a homeless shelter and meal program, the organization has evolved to meet changing community needs and remains committed to supporting those facing hunger and hardship in Fort Wayne.
